Ukrainian Children’s Cardiac Center is the only institution in
Ukraine where children
with congenital heart defects are operated on
starting from their first days of life.
Highly professional, skilled
and dedicated personnel with the most modern equipment
of the Center
allow to perform accurate diagnostics and surgical correction at the world level.
 All operations for Ukrainian children are free
of charge due to the state support.
The Center is headed by Dr.
Illya Yemets, MD, PhD, cardiac surgeon who has
long experience of
work in the leading pediatric centers in Melbourne, Sydney, Toronto and Paris.

Antonov An 225 is strategic airlift cargo aircraft designed by the Antonov
Design Bureau, Kyiv, Ukraine. It is the world's heaviest aircraft built
(the first flight on December 21, 1988) to transport the Buran spacecraft (like Shuttle).
