In general, the Corruption Perceptions Index ranks countries and territories based on how corrupt their public sector is perceived to be. Country or territory’s scores indicates the perceived level of public sector corruption from 0 to 100, where 0 means that country is perceived as highly corrupt and 100 means it is perceived as very clean. Country's rank indicates its position relative to the other 176 countries and territories included in the Corruption Perceptions Index 2012.

Ukraine is corrupt country with rank 144 and score 26 according to
the Corruption Perceptions Index 2012.

The e-Participation Index assesses the quality, relevance,
usefulness and willingness of government websites
for providing online information and participatory services to the people.


In the e-Participation Index 2010, Ukraine has 46th position together with Greece and Uruguay.

Investing Across Borders is the new World Bank Group initiative
comparing regulation of foreign direct investment around the
world. It presents quantitative indicators on economies' laws,
regulations and practices affecting how foreign companies invest across
sectors, start businesses, access industrial land and arbitrate commercial disputes.

In particular, among the 20 countries covered by the Investing Across Sectors
indicators in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, Ukraine imposes
restrictions on foreign equity ownership that are more severe than in most other countries.

The Revolting Index of likely candidates for (un)civil upheaval is composed
on the basis of three equally weighted criteria: social unfairness,
propensity to revolt and trigging (in the last case the share that food makes
up as percentage of household final expenditure).
In turn, the unfairness
component is made up of three data series: Transparency International
Corruption Perceptions Index, UNDP Human Development Index and GINI Index.


Among 85 countries ranked in 2011, Ukraine occupies the 22nd dangerous position.
