Introducing the Revolting Index: the position of Ukraine #

The Revolting Index of likely candidates for (un)civil upheaval is composed
on the basis of three equally weighted criteria: social unfairness,
propensity to revolt and trigging (in the last case the share that food makes
up as percentage of household final expenditure). In turn, the unfairness
component is made up of three data series: Transparency International
Corruption Perceptions Index, UNDP Human Development Index and GINI Index.

Among 85 countries ranked in 2011, Ukraine occupies the 22nd dangerous position.
