The British Council is the United Kingdom's international organisation for educational
opportunities and cultural relations. The British Council has been founded in 1934
and operates from 234 cities in 110 countries around the world. Its Patron is
Queen Elizabeth II, The Prince of Wales is Vice-Patron. The Britich Council has been
operating in Ukraine since 1992 and is present in four cities: Kyiv, Donetsk, Lviv and Odesa.
In 1998, France has founded an organization called the EduFrance Agency
transformed later into CampusFrance to promote French higher
education abroad within an increasingly competitive international context.
Dedicated to international mobility in higher education, CampusFrance is
supervised by Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Higher Education & Research,
Department of Immigration, Integration, National Identity and Cooperative Development.
World Wide Studies is an educational initiative of the Victor Pinchuk Foundation, aimed
at fostering the new generation of Ukrainian professional elites. The Project 2010
encourages Ukrainian youth to get Master’s degrees in the world’s best universities in the
following fields: agricultural studies, environment and ecology, law and public administration.
