New book by Carol Yeh-Yun Lin & Leif Edvinsson, Springer
Innovation and knowledge are fast becoming new
measures of international economic growth competitiveness with
universities at the core, but measuring knowledge capital or the more
intangible intellectual capital is still the new field. In new book, authors give, covering 14 years (1995-2008) intellectual capital information, comprised of human capital, market
capital, process capital, renewal capital and financial capital for 40
countries.
Ukraine is absent in this comparison, but it can be located near Russia (32 position).

The World
Giving Index is the first report of its kind looking at charitable
behaviour across the world. Using data from Gallup’s Worldview
World Poll, Charities Aid Foundation has looked at three different types of charitable

Among 153 countries ranked, Ukraine occupies humiliating 150th position (!!!).
