Ottawa Model Ukraine Conference is powered by the Canada-Ukraine Parliamentary Program and the Chair of Ukrainian Studies (November 12-13, 2010, Desmarais Building at the University of Ottawa).
|
Ukrainian studies has been well
served in the past decades with the growing network
of Chairs, institutes and academic programs across Canada and the United States. These
institutions have nurtured the primary focus on the
humanities: history,
literature and ethnography. The Chair of
Ukrainian Studies, at the University of Ottawa,
intends to find its niche by developing into the
first research unit in Ukrainian studies mainly
oriented towards the study of contemporary
Ukraine.
