7th Yalta Annual Meeting entitled "Ukraine and the World:
Re-Thinking and Moving On”,
organized by the Yalta European Strategy
(YES) in partnership with the Victor
Pinchuk Foundation, will take place
in Livadia Palace from 30 September to 3rd October, 2010.

Yalta European Strategy (YES) is an international
network established to promote
the development of just, free and
prosperous Ukraine, to open the
country to the rest of the world and to
support Ukraine’s membership to the European Union.

European Business Association has been established in 1999 as forum for discussion
and resolution of problems facing the private
sector in Ukraine.
This initiative of business people who saw advantages
and benefits in the
European business community acting together is
supported by the European Commission.

The goal of
the Municipal Governance and Sustainable Development
Programme, powered by UNDP, is to
promote participatory
governance so as to improve living quality of the people
in urban Ukraine.
To this end, focus of the Programme is placed on: 1) improving
capacity of
central government to decentralise fiscal and administrative powers
and responsibilities in support of local development; 2) improving
capacity
of local authorities to transparently define and implement local
development strategies, deliver public services and foster local economic
development; as well as 3) enhancing capacity of communities to
realize improvements in local social, economic and
environmental conditions.
