The Ukrainian Academy of Arts and Sciences in the U.S.A. is an
association of scholars dedicated to the promotion of
Ukrainian studies and culture in the United States. It has been established
in 1950 in New York as heir to the tradition of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences, founded in Kyiv, and the Ukrainian
academy in exile, founded in Augsburg (Germany), and known as
the Ukrainian Free Academy of Sciences.

The World Federation
of Ukrainian Women's Organizations (WFUWO) has been founded in November 1948
in the United States. It is an international federation of 23 non-profit
organizations from 12 countries spanning four continents. WFUWO supports
cultural, educational, humanitarian and social programs. It upholds the principles of political tolerance, religious tolerance and universal human rights.
